Time Square Link Up (Shopping in Manhattan and a Movie at AMC)

The Linkup on Black Friday couldn't have been any better. The lyme started off at around 2pm when Shawn, Kesha and I met up with Wadz, Raznorman, Monie and Andrew in the store Century 21 . We shopped around for a while, making use of the good deals available for the marked sales day, until eventually Mahaish joined us. After hitting up that spot, we headed on over to a game store where Wadz made good use of the great discounts on some PS2 games. Next up...food stop...we headed on over to Burger King and grabbed some lunch. It was there that we were treated to some rather big news, the engagement of Wadz and Monie! I must say that after hearing the romantic story of the proposal, all I got to say is:

"EHHM EHM! All who can't have man propose to dem in a bath tub a bat!"

After all that excitement, we all hopped a train and headed to 34th street to partake in more shopping. But first, a few friends of Wadusky joined up with us at the train station and decided to tag along. We went to H&M and browsed for a bit, then the group split up: Mahaish, Shawn, Kesha and I went to Daffys and Journeys   while Monie, Wadz, Andrew, Raznorman and Wadz's gang made their way to Macys and the movie theater where they saw an early preview of 'Ice Harvest' .

After checking out Journeys, the first group hung around until eventually Kesha and Mahaish headed home. Sean and I waited around the mall until Alikat and Dimples met up with us, then we all trekked off to the movie theater to catch a late show.   We decided to watch 'Ice Harvest' as well, but before it started we met up with Wadz's group once more as it was then that their movie had ended:

  "Let me say that Lori was not exactly pleased when she met Wadusky, as she was not used to his cocky attitude" 

They left when our show time was near and we headed on into the theater. The movie itself was pretty good; we laughed a lot and had a good time.  

After the movies, we like a bunch of ghetto folks, took pictures in and outside the movie theater, Alikat repeatedly grabbed at Shawn's crotch when we were taking them. Then we all parted and went to our respective homes.

This was a good link up for something that was planned in less than 1 week.
